Glow’s wonderfully talented designers have created a campaign brand to mark our 20th year in business. To start off 2020, the creation of a sub brand – for all our digital & print communication pieces – was our first key action.
Designing brands for ourselves is one of our biggest tests, but one we love. We’re big critiques and really challenge our creativity, which is hugely rewarding. For our 20th campaign brand the vision was to create a striking logo which was universally adaptable within our existing print and digital mediums. It was also important to build on our existing brand identity. We introduced black to denote strength, made sure there was a nod to our pink logo, and applied subtle celebration sparkles.
To roll out our campaign brand we have created the main logo, a mini ‘brand’ video and social media banners. You’ll probably see it crop up quite a bit over the next 12 months, we hope you like!
Glow was founded in June 2000 by Lisa Lavis, the current owner and MD with three other brilliant creative and business experts. We’ve seen the emergence of the dot.com era, e-commerce, huge Mac monitors to slim cool ones, social media and so many new and brilliant technological advancements. And pushing for better and improving all the time is also at the bedrock of Glow’s values.
2020 will be a busy year, as we work hard on our nurturing strategy, which builds on developing and growing young talent. We have started to engage with Solent University and sit on Business South’s Workforce Action Group. We’ve also got ambitious plans to launch our own sub brand: The Little Grow Pod; a new website to provide a platform where you can buy and learn about a wide selection of environmental and ethical products. We’ve already started by becoming an official drop off point for the TerraCycle UK Confectionery Recycling Programme.
So, as we start planning for another busy year, here’s a congratulations to Glow and a big, heartfelt thank you to all our clients, suppliers, partners.
Cheers, 2020 is going to be great!
