A logistics creative campaign that doesn’t need to start from scratch

Sometimes, the strongest logistics creative campaign starts with something you already know works and adapts it for a different audience, service or market.

That was exactly the thinking behind two recent campaigns for Meachers Global Logistics.

The original campaign was built around the message “One choice, every solution.” Its purpose was to communicate the breadth of Meachers’ offer, showing that customers can rely on one logistics partner for a wide range of services, from freight and transport through to warehousing and storage.

The visual system supported that message with a strong, recognisable creative idea designed to bring those different services together.

Adapting a logistics campaign for a specific service

When the focus later shifted to promoting Meachers’ Palletways service, we didn’t need to throw that work away and start again.

Instead, we kept the same visual language and adapted the messaging for a more specific service and audience.

The broader “One choice, every solution” proposition became “Keep your pallets moving.” The supporting copy focused on the practical benefits of the Palletways network, including local collections, UK and European delivery, and options for different pallet sizes.

The result was a new campaign that felt connected to the original, while still having a clear purpose of its own.

Why consistency matters

Reusing a strong creative system helps build recognition, keeps the brand feeling joined-up and makes the most of the work already invested in developing the original idea.

At the same time, changing the messaging allows the campaign to speak more directly to the audience, market or service being promoted.

It is also a much more efficient way to work.

A logistics creative campaign does not always need to become a huge creative exercise. If you have an idea you love, there may be far more mileage in it than you first think.

Keep the parts that make it recognisable. Adapt the message. Shift the emphasis.

Sometimes, getting more from a good idea is more effective than constantly looking for a new one.
