Yesterday (Thursday 7th November), we exhibited at the Southampton Business Expo, which was held at the Ageas Bowl in West End. It was our second year attending this brilliant event and we again enjoyed meeting an array of people from a range of different industries. We were also approached by a number of students studying a variety of different creative courses, who were aware of our brand through social media and because of our annual intern competition. We enjoyed talking to them about the routes they were looking to go down when they completed their studies.
As part of our nurturing strategy we hope to be able to offer more opportunities, alongside our intern competition to students in the future and help young talent to thrive in the South.
We also think our bright and bold exhibition stands and marketing materials helped in attracting people to our stand and of course the mention of potentially winning a bottle of Hendricks Gin worked a treat. Our focus at the exhibition was to meet new and interesting people, learn about new companies / services and to also re-connect with known associates. We also aimed to inform visitors of the extensive services we offer, including; design, branding, websites, digital, strategy and copywriting.
About the Expo
The Southampton Business Expo is held annually and is a great networking event for businesses who are looking to grow and prosper. This free-to-attend expo provides a hive of creativity and activity for visitors too and is a worthwhile day out, or just a good chance to get out of the office for a couple of hours to meet new contacts (and get some great freebies)!
