We’re promoting the recent launch of the Zockoll Group’s new website. Specialists in its field, Zockoll has been franchising & licensing for over 50 years and the current Chairman, Jim Zockoll was the founder of Dyno-Rod, the nation’s favourite drain cleaning and repair service.
Having previously created websites for two of the group’s brands, 0800 Handyman in 2019, and Phone names earlier this year, Glow was tasked to refresh the Zockoll Group’s site. We needed to showcase its vast portfolio of franchised models, which has been curated since 1963, and demonstrate not only the experience, but the new direction the company is heading in.
The concept for the website revolves around the idea of a family tree and timeline. Starting at the beginning and graduating through the years to Zockoll’s latest ventures; Phone names, a company which provides memorable alternatives to standard, run of the mill phone numbers, and Fingertip Marketing, offering licensing opportunities for those in need of a strong brand identity.
These new ventures are backed by 50 years’ worth of valuable Zockoll experience, reassuring customers they are in safe hands in order to grow and expand their businesses.
The timeline feature on the website shows each brand’s logo and a short summary of the services provided. It’s an excellent demonstration of how branding and companies develop through the decades.
The design of the website needed to be simple, modern and easy to navigate, not only demonstrating Zockoll’s expertise, but also a contemporary, forward-thinking projection. With only 3 main pages to the site, the timeline feature outlines the company’s franchising journey, while the about us page delivers a rich history of the company’s origin, its founder, Jim Zockoll, and his son, the current Managing Director, Steven.
Working closely with the Managing Director, we were able to create a design that was simple and had an elegant functionality. We’re sure there are many more exciting projects for the future, and we love being part of the growth plans of Zockoll.
