Grab a cuppa and humour me/us, let’s talk about social media planning… you either love it or hate it.

BUT, creating an effective social media strategy for business is an essential part of marketing.

Here’s some quick tips to help:

Define goals and audience

First of all, define your goals and target audience. Do you want to increase brand awareness? Boost sales? Engage with your customers more?

Research platforms

Research the platforms your audience uses. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to use them all.

Pick a management system

Decide how you want to collate your posts. We use Trello so everyone has access to all the assets and can share ideas – we have a blog about this.

Create your content

Develop engaging and relevant content that aligns with your brand (we’ll write a blog on this for you soon).

Create a posting schedule

Establish a consistent posting schedule that works for you – we post 3 times a week. It’s manageable for our studio and keeps our brand visible while not overwhelming our target audience.

Engage!

Lastly, and importantly, engage with your audience by responding to comments and messages.
