Weekly Project Review: Consistent Reviews = Projects on Track

In business, there are many priorities, from Ops to Marketing, BD, Finance, and Wellbeing (though the last two seem an odd pair, but hey, balance matters).

For team Glow, our key non-negotiable is our weekly project update meeting.

You might have heard us say, “We’re having our weekly project update meeting today,” and we’ll update you afterwards.

Currently, we have 79 projects live on our system. Some are small, some are huge, but all are important. That’s 79 project briefs, timeframes, and checks.

Every Tuesday (never a Monday – we learned long ago that early Monday mornings aren’t ideal for deep dives), we review, analyse, challenge, and check every client project.

We ask if we understand the brief, if we need more information, and if we grasp the scope, deadlines, content, context, and deliverables completely. If not, we sense check, ask questions, and act as our clients expect – demanding excellence.

As we head into a new year, with fresh goals, momentum, and plenty to deliver, our non-negotiable remains unchanged, and we’re very thankful for it.

What’s your non-negotiable? And out of curiosity, what’s the best time for your project reviews? Please don’t say Monday.
