#InTheStudioThisWeek we’re promoting the Business South Local Produce Trade show 2020. Today, between 10:30 and 15:30, the best of local food and drink traders from the South will exhibit at the Ageas Bowl to showcase high-quality local produce and will be attended by influential catering & hospitality trade buyers. Over 60 local producers are expected to exhibit today.
Jon Barfoot, Co-Founder & CEO of plant-based brands Boxxfresh.com and Vegbred® will open the event. The show develops local supply chains by putting suppliers directly in touch with buyers and highlights the importance of the vibrant food and drink industry that the region has to offer.
Glow has created the marketing material for the Local Produce Trade Show in the lead up to the event over the last 9 months. More recently, we’ve created a few large-scale banner adverts to promote the sponsors and show hashtag, #BuyLocal, to encourage interaction throughout the day. This needed to be bold, simple and easy to ready at a distance.
Other Glow designs for the event include PDF information sheets for buyers and traders, promotional postcards and flyers as well as pop-up graphics.
The event, which has been established for over a decade, and now in its 12th year, is the foremost of its kind in the region. Organised by Business South, and sponsored by Cavendish Ships Stores, Carnival UK, Cunard, Hampshire Fare, Hampshire Farmers’ Markets, New Forest Marque, and Paris Smith, aims to support the local and rural economies whilst developing food and drink supply chains.
Having attended the event earlier this year, Lisa Lavis, Glow’s MD, thoroughly enjoyed sampling all the local delicacies and will be visiting the show again today.
A list of the exhibitors can be found here.
