Yesterday, Business South – the independent representative of businesses in Central South England – delivered a truly magnificent annual conference, bringing together business leaders, educators and public bodies. The energy in the room, the desire to learn, share and grow again, post pandemic, was palpable.
As part of the essential conference branding Glow was approached by Business South to design a suite of new pop-up banners, to push key messages of the group, Central South and the Action Groups. The banners were accompanied by the Business South Annual Review – a fabulous document, rich with content and brand personality – also designed by the Glow team.
There was a top line up of speakers including Rishi Sunak, providing a personal message for the Central South and the economic recovery of the UK, Alastair Welch, Director of ABP, Regenerate South Chair, Tim Hancock discussing the Central South Built Environment future plus a fabulous heart-warming and inspiring presentation from Keren Taylor, Senior People Director of Carnival UK.
The day also included two great panel discussions on the future challenges and opportunities for the Central South and Green Vs Reality with panellists from Solent University, Portsmouth Port, Southern Co-op and Stride Treglown.
The keynote speaker was David Smith from The Times, who delivered an excellent presentation, delivered with humour and great insight, on the economic and business outlook post-pandemic and Brexit recovery.
