Internships. We love them! And what a great testimonial from HSDC – one of our superb local further education colleges – who contact us each year regarding student work experience.
In 2019 Glow introduced its own nurturing strategy with two clear goals:
- To offer design placements at Glow every year to enable talented students to learn, grow, build their confidence, and develop their skills and knowledge of the creative industry.
- To create a Glow academy to enable undergraduates to complete their degrees through apprenticeships at Glow.
While we develop our plan for undergraduate apprenticeships we still – absolutely every year – take on internships and work experience students.
Our students work on live briefs, in the studio and get the opportunity to chat to the team, learn design, marketing and communications skills and most importantly see what it’s like to work in a thriving agency.
For us, it’s so rewarding; imparting a bit of our knowledge and equally we learn loads too!
