As CSR and community projects go, Glow is continually impressed by Knights Brown and its commitment to embrace strong values. This week, team Glow has been creating a Community Engagement Guideline and a Careers Booklet, both in keeping with the company’s distinguished brand identity.

Knights Brown is a privately owned, full service, regional construction business with specialist energy sector capability delivered nationwide. The eight sectors it works in are as follows: Airports, Buildings, Coasts, Rivers and Ports, Defence, Energy, Infra and Public Realm, Waste and Water. Its vision is to be a company people aspire to work for, that always endeavors to deliver the best experience for its customers.

Glow is a big advocate of helping interns and graduates on their career and life paths so can relate to the ambitions of Knights Brown. Its intention is to equip graduates with the skills, belief and culture that will enable them to play an active part in the success of the company.

Giving Back

The company encourages all employees to get involved with their communities. Its employer supported volunteering programme allows employees to take a day’s paid leave to volunteer with an organisation they care about. Not only does its programme improve employees’ skills, it also promotes a better work life balance.

For the past three years, Knights Brown has partnered with Tony Gee, a consulting engineer, to each send five employees on a Bridges to Prosperity programme. These builds have taken place in Rwanda and Uganda.

Glow worked with Knights Brown to rename and create a new brand identity, which was officially launched 1 September 2017*, and along with a new website, we’ve been supporting them in designing a large array of internal & external marketing and communications materials!
