Two design concepts, one annual report, every year since 2011 and this week we see the release of PHA Homes annual report 2018, design number 8, created by team Glow. It’s one of our favourite brands to work on (we might have helped with the rebrand a few years ago 😉) and the annual report is the yearly pièce de résistance.
The recently finished annual report is a contemporary 20 page, A5 booklet printed on a gorgeous uncoated stock; bursting with vibrant imagery and colours. We suggested this specification for the report, as we wanted to create a printed design which was incredibly tactile and enticing to pick up and read.
The strong colour palette of PHA Homes means we can be rich and bold in the presentation of figures, stats and graphs, a big plus when laying out detailed information. Many of the images used throughout the report have been meticulously cut around to remove the backgrounds on Photoshop. This helped to create an effective layout where the diverse imagery and various design embellishments appear seamlessly integrated.
A key objective for the PHA Annual Report is to communicate to its residents and stakeholders clearly what the association has been working on over the year, the highlights, the sector benchmark scores and plans for the future. And it is Glow’s job to translate this detail into a beautifully designed document, which is both informative and easy to digest.
We think we nailed it this year, we hope you agree!
PHA Homes – where people and homes count – is an independent, charitable housing association providing high quality homes and management services in East Hampshire.
The association is proud of the work they do; providing good quality homes and services that will help their residents and customers achieve their goals and ambitions.
Glow has been working with PHA Homes, providing design, website and branding services for over 10 years. It’s a lovely, friendly and professional association and we look forward to working with them for another 10 years, if they’ll have us 😊 Click here to check out the concept designs from last year.
