Your business will have goals. It’ll know where it’s heading. And in a nutshell, that’s the strategy.

But how it gets there, how enjoyable it is, over what time period – and at what cost – is what really matters. Getting these factors right has huge implications for all employees; the founders and shareholders, for earn outs and dividends. And all staff, for their development, R&D, opportunities and – what we all think 🤔 but don’t nec. say – our salaries and benefits packages. We call it ‘What’s In It For Me’ WIIFM.

Companies have strategic choices to make too. Do they lean on their existing teams and spread their time over many functions, or do they partner with experts.

Spreading time is something we see a lot. And not just with smaller companies. The Head of BD or Opps also does the marketing. They have their own full time remit (and area of expertise) and they have to squeeze in a full time Head of Marketing too.

And it can work, to a degree, but with regards to what matters, the time and cost it takes to achieve the goals will be longer & cost more.

Time is an obvious one but doing it in-house, surely that’s cheaper? Afraid not. In the long run it’s always going to cost more.

You know the phrase ‘buy cheap buy twice’ this is exactly what’ll be happening with the in-house scenario. Tech, processes, knowledge, insight, experience will sit further down the capability portfolio. Inadvertently, poor or weak marketing decisions will be made. And then often remade. So around you go again, months & years pass (time), and money is spent (costs).

By working with the Glow & Frankly team achieving your strategic & marketing goals will be quicker, it will cost the business less & give you more ££. Triple win.

Plus, it’ll be considerably more enjoyable too!
