In the studio this week, we have created a set of road signs with an impact, for our long-standing client, Knights Brown. The five signs focus around the subject of reducing speed around construction sites in order to protect the employees working there. They use powerful messaging from the perspective of a child to give a stark reminder that the men and women working on these sites are the parents or family members of a little one.
The imagery used, whilst endearing also reiterates the message and makes the signs more poignant. We added the Knights Brown branding to the PPE worn by the children to increase the brand visibility, whilst using a variation of the brand font to fit with the design. The use of a chalk board background, paired with a decorative, child-like font adds a sense of relatability, implying that the hard-hitting message comes directly from the minor.
These signs will be utilised for one of the company’s road schemes and will be an effective tool in helping to keep its employees safe. Knights Brown is fantastic at devising powerful initiatives with its staff and clients’ best interests at the forefront. The company also continuously works on strengthening its brand image and reputation through great graphic design and effective internal and external communications.
